The GBW concentrated sulfuric acid pump is optimized and designed based on the performance parameters of the IS centrifugal pump, using two materials: concentrated sulfuric acid special cast iron and carbon steel, and an excellent hydraulic model. It is an ideal new generation chemical pump. |

1. Smooth operation: The absolute concentricity of the pump shaft and excellent dynamic and static balance of the impeller ensure smooth operation without any vibration.
2. Drip proof: The pump shaft seal adopts an external high-quality mechanical seal, and the dynamic and static rings are made of new silicon carbide, which is corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, leak free, and has a long service life.
3. Low noise: The water pump supported by two low-noise bearings runs smoothly, with almost no noise except for weak motor noise.
4. Low failure rate: The structure is simple and reasonable, and the key parts are matched with international first-class quality, greatly improving the fault free working time of the whole machine.
5. Easy to maintain: replace seals and bearings, simple and convenient.
6. More land saving: The exit can be arranged in three directions: left, right, and up, which facilitates pipeline layout and installation, saving space.
Special steel is widely used in 80-100% sulfuric acid, with temperatures reaching 60-80 ℃. Steel in this concentration and temperature range of sulfuric acid can produce a protective iron sulfate film layer on its surface. Cast iron is not suitable for more than 100% fuming sulfuric acid, possibly due to the reaction between sulfur trioxide and the silicon contained in iron, which makes the cast iron brittle. Carbon steel is not suitable for 100-102% fuming sulfuric acid, and is suitable for acids exceeding 102%. The temperature limit is about 60 ℃. The corrosion of steel by dilute sulfuric acid is significant, and the corrosion rate reaches its highest value when the acid concentration is around 47%. When the acid concentration exceeds 65%, the corrosion rate of steel significantly decreases. But in the concentration range of 65-80%, it is better not to use steel, and it is safer to use lead or other acid resistant materials.
